Story
Peter and Caroline Wilson
Passionate about the farming lifestyle as a way to raise our children, Pete and I moved to Forest Reefs only three years ago after owning a similar sized property in Carcoar for nearly 10 years. We are enthusiastic about the amazing creativity and exceptional produce available in the Central West and wanted to create an oasis suitable for couples, families or small groups to base themselves while exploring all the region has to offer.
Our Commitment to Quality
Great care has been taken with the selection of design and construction of Aurora Guesthouse, as well as fittings, fixtures and furnishings. We have created, not just somewhere to stay for the night, but a haven of luxury and comfort. The ambiance of a working wood fire is complimented by reverse cycle air conditioning if you prefer. Incredibly well insulated, you will notice the cottage is warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot.

We offer a taste of some fantastic local producers and really encourage you to find the forage trail and experience the amazing produce the Central West has to offer.
Country Food Trails offers small, private tours to farms, breweries and wineries with a focus on indigenous bush tucker and history. There are private driving or walking tours including the Tasting Trail, the Ale Trail or the Farm Trail.
